"Create Daily in May" challenge

Recently, I've seen quite a lot of people over on social media doing various daily challenges. I wanted to try something of my own, so I challenged myself to do one piece of mini art a day in May.

I wanted to keep the mini art in my Documented Life journal, so I was a bit limited by the size of the paper I planned to attach the finished pieces to. The ideal size seemed to be 1,5 inches.

I confess, I didn't manage to create daily. Sometimes, I created two pieces a day - beacuse I was lagging behind or because I just wanted to create more (and have a day off the following day LOL).

Some pieces were done very quickly when I just wanted to get it done but some are quite elaborate and I'm very proud of what I've been able to achieve.

PaperArtsy 2016 Topic 10: Doodles (guest blog post)

Here am I with another guest blog post I had the opportunity to write for PaperArtsy. The theme was "Doodles".

You can find the blog post here.

Thank you, PaperArtsy team, for allowing to share my art with your readers!!

As I mention in my blog post, I have a certain "theme" that seems to follow me through my life ;-)

It reappears from time to time, and then goes away.

This is the layout I initially wanted to create for the blog post:

I'm glad I changed my mind because it looks a bit flat.

APRIL Documented Life Project™ 2016: the unPlanner™

I'm here with an update on my April Documented Life Project pages. (I sincerely apologize to my 3 or so readers that it took so long but I've been pretty busy in my non-crafty life).

Spread your wings - art journal page

I created this page for a "Let's Celebrate International Scrapbooking Day" challenge over at Finnabair's blog. We were to take a quote that is close to our heart, and create a piece of art inspired by it.

As you might know, my art is full of inspirational quotes - I like to put quotes on almost everything I make.

PaperArtsy 2016 Topic 8: White Space

I'm here with the latest PaperArtsy challenge, which is White Space.

I don't usually leave much white space anywhere on my art, so this was a bit of a challenge...
